To the Goddess and the GodUsed as a prayer on my Birthday, and thanks for good health © Stewart McDonald 2000 |

Upon this candle I say her name Diana, the Goddess I light this flame. Upon this candle I light your flame Apollo, the God I say his name. The God of the Sun shines down on me running through the woods naked and free. The light of the Goddess silver is the Moon splashes into our eyes for us lovers to woo I call to her I call to him they shall guide me from within. I smile and laugh innocent as a child dancing in the fields free and wild. |
